Thomas E. Battle, III 
Tom is an author and noted lecturer on real estate. He is also the executive vice president of the Gwent Group, Inc., director of the Center for Real Estate Education and Research, and serves as the director of education for the Real Estate Certification Program (RECP). Tom is a graduate of the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, where he also earned a Master’s degree and completed all course work toward a Ph.D. at Indiana. His doctoral work included a field in tests and measurements that he has used to assist numerous associations and organizations in the development of professional certifications. He has 25 years experience in curriculum development and the administration of executive education, and also in teaching real estate topics. He holds an Indiana real estate brokers license and several real estate designations.
