Silas J. Ely is a California Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, instructor, and educational consultant. Currently residing in San Luis Obispo, CA, he is a graduate of the UCLA, where he earned a B.A. degree in Political Science and a Certificate in Real Estate. Ely was a sen¬ior faculty member in appraisal for the USC College of Continuing Education, as well as the 1978 chairman of the California Asso¬ciation of Real Estate Teachers and a past president of the Los Angeles County Chapter of the IAAO. A Director Emeritus and long-time member of the California chapter of REEA, Ely holds the RECI designation.
